Beirut Band

So Beirut will be the first band of the blog, because is my favourite band, i met this band on the end of 2008 , i listened this band on the soup opera Capitu and i really like the sound, like circus music, and i really like circus. Very instrumental and Zach Condon (The vocalist) with a amazing voice, is a combination with a  folk and Europe lest.

The songs of beirut have a lot influence of the Europe Lest, Gypsies, Balkan folk music.
So is my favorite band i think you will like.

Albums

Gulag Orkestar (2006)
Condon recorded the bulk of the material used for Gulag Orkestar by himself in his bedroom, going into the studio to finish the album with the assistance of Jeremy Barnes (Neutral Milk Hotel, A Hawk and a Hacksaw) and Heather Trost (A Hawk and a Hacksaw), who became early members of the band Beirut.
This album have a lot metal instruments.Remember me a gypsy songs, i really like the song Bratislava, the capital of the gypsies and they are othes songs talking about Italy and other citys of Europe.

The Flying Club Cup (2007)
The music on the album has a French influence due to Condon's interest in French chanson during its recording. Condon has cited French and Belgian singers Jacques Brel (French-speaking Belgian), Serge Gainsbourg and Yves Montand (Italian/French) as influences. He (Condon) also expressed interest in French film and culture, claiming this was his original reason for travelling to Europe.

March of the Zapotec(2008)
On April 3, 2008, Beirut canceled a previously announced summer European tour. The band had already been touring and had completed the U.S. leg of the tour, but before the European leg, Condon stated that after two months of touring, he was running on too little sleep.Zach Condon explained the cancellations in a post on the official Beirut website, stating that he wanted to put the effort into ensuring that any shows would be "as good as humanly possible".Soon after, The Stranger reported that Condon was working on a third album tentatively scheduled for a fall release. This album materialized as the double EP March of the Zapotec/Holland EP, containing an official Beirut release based on Condon's recent trip to Oaxaca (March of the Zapotec), and electronic music under the "Realpeople" name (Holland), to be released February 16, 2009. However, the album became available for purchase on iTunes on January 27, almost a month before the projected release date.

On February 6, 2009 Beirut made their debut television performance in the United States on the Late Show with David Letterman, performing "A Sunday Smile".

And this one is very nice too, the song A Sunday smile is unique, all songs of Beirut is unique.

The Rip Tide(2011)
In early June 2011, amidst touring the US, Beirut announced that their newest album, The Rip Tide, which had been recorded the previous winter in New York, was to be released on August 30.The band simultaneously released a single, "East Harlem" (which was first recorded on Live at the Music Hall of Williamsburg ), with the B-side "Goshen"; both songs that appear on the new album. The new album is recorded, managed, and released under Condon's own Pompeii Records, in order to preserve recording rights.

I think this album was the best one, the song is very nice, i cant stop listen the cd, i saw on the musics site, people didnt like because is different than the others albums, i think not, they cant change the type of the song, because is this if we listen, because is different of all, they just improved, i cant stop sing A candles Fire.
